Truth procedural Journalism

We may often watch the television detective story: a thief may indeed have been guilty of stealing lead to the court but the judge only because the police catching the wrong procedure heeding or without the procedure. In this case, the judge decided a truth based on the procedures applied. And what the meaning of truth for the mass media?

By Farid Gaban
Permission for the mass media is truth, truth procedural achieved through a series of procedures. In this case, the journalistic procedures.
In everyday life we find another concept of "procedural truth" in other professions, for example, among the prosecutor / judge, in environmental medicine, or among scientists.
Procedural truth is not absolute truth. He can be relative (limited) both in terms of space and time.
In the field of law, for example, we often hear there is already a prisoner found guilty and sentenced to death based on strict legal procedures and verification, but later there is new evidence that proves that he is not guilty. The possibility of such can happen.
Similarly, the "truth" that certain scientific achieved through strict laboratory testing procedures, but later proven mistaken. Similar things can happen in the "journalistic truth" is achieved through a series of journalistic procedure.
Walhasil, not the "truth" itself is important here, but whether the "truth" is achieved through proper procedures, which in turn can duji by other people.
We may often watch the television detective story: a thief may indeed have been guilty of stealing lead to the court but the judge only because the police catching the wrong procedure heeding or without the procedure. In this case, the judge decided a truth based on the procedures applied.

In the context of journalists, a procedure that includes things such as this:
- Are the journalists involved do not conflict with the interests of the object / subject of the news because he received money / bribery?
Are the news sources selected with full consideration to find the truth is that most of the things?
Are the interviews conducted with depth, comprehensive and correct manner?
Are documents, data and other evidence collected to strengthen the news made?
Are the facts unearthed in a serious and placed in the correct context?
In that context, any real news written journalists, news that can not be considered a procedural right if the journalists receive bribe or involved in the conflict of interest concerning each object.
In the same context, news that a journalist can be properly written in procedural fallacious but, for example, because only one source to give you a lie.
The raw procedures and standards of ethics in the coverage and writing / broadcasting listed in the code of ethics of journalism, a popular version can be read in the book "Elements of Journalism" Bill Kovach it.
Every journalist is obliged to understand the procedures and ethics. Procedure and also with ethic that is known by the public need to be Measuring the public / measure the quality of working journalists and the work yielded.
